April 2021
Finding workwear that is functional is a tough job, but finding workwear that is fashionable maybe even harder. I work in education so I am constantly chasing kids around, meeting with parents, and running to after school meetings and activities, so I need clothes that can fit all of those events. When I first stumbled across Cotidié Clothing, I fell in love with the Adeline long sleeve top and also wanted to scoop up the short sleeve version, the Ada. The pleats are what initially drew me in, but the fabric is why I wanted more. Each piece is made from moisture wicking fabric that doesn't wrinkle and is great for work, play, and travel.
In this outfit, I am wearing the Meredith tank and the Harriet trousers. In a time when you don't know if you will be in the office or working from home, these pants are a must have! They have an elastic waist, are the same moisture wicking fabric, functional pockets, and squat proof :) Yes, I did test that part out.
The other great thing about these pieces is that they can all be worn separately to create several different outfits. For this look, I created 5 different looks by just adding a blazer or cardigan, swapping the tank for a white shirt, denim jacket, and white sneakers, or swapping the pants for white jeans and heels for a fun night out.
When looking for high quality pieces that are both feminine and functional, I look for pieces that are going to last for a while, are multi-functional, and also have a little flare. Every single piece from the Cotidié Clothing collection fits that. I can't wait to try more!
